Cornflake And Nut Meringues - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 c. cornflakes
Preparation

Beat egg whites in a large bowl.
Beat in sugar gradually. Beat in salt and vanilla.
Fold in nuts and cornflakes.
Push with teaspoons onto cookie sheet lined with brown paper.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 20 minutes until surface is dry, but not brown.
Yields 2 1/2 dozen.
