Company Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. uncooked medium-size egg noodles
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. butter
    4 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. chopped scallion or onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Cook and drain noodles.
    Saute beef in large skillet, using 1 tablespoon butter, until brown.
    Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat.
    Set aside.
    Combine in a bowl the cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, scallion and green pepper. Using a 3-quart casserole, spread half of the noodles, then cover with the cheese mixture.
    Add rest of noodles.
    Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over top of noodles.
    Cover with meat mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Serves 6.
