Sausage Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bulk sausage
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk baking mix
    4 oz. coarsely grated Cheddar cheese
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. each: pepper, dried thyme and ground ginger
Preparation
    In a 6-inch skillet cook sausage 6 to 8 minutes over moderate heat, breaking it up with a spoon until meat is no longer pink and most of the fat has cooked out.
    Drain in a strainer.
