Sausage And Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground sausage
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 Tbsp. grated cheese
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage in skillet until done.
    Pour off excess drippings (about 1/2).
    Arrange alternate layers of rice and sausage in greased quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle each layer with chopped onion and salt and pepper.
    Pour tomato soup over mixture and cover with grated cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 6.
