Iowa Freezer Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 c. corn (cut off cob)
    1 lb. butter or oleo
    1 pt. half and half
    salt
Preparation
    Drain a can of chickpeas.
    Add salt, pepper and oregano.
    Cover with water and a bit of olive oil.
    Simmer with cover until most of liquid is gone.
    Serve hot or are great cold on a salad.
