Filet Mignon With Mushroom And Onion Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (6 oz. 1 1/2-inch) Filet Mignons
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt
    olive oil
    18 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1 small onion, chopped
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Rub Filet Mignon with thyme, pepper and 1 teaspoon of salt. Over medium high heat in a 10-inch skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil.
    Cook steaks 5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
    Remove to a plate and keep warm.
