Green Bean Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cooked green beans (fresh or frozen)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    3 to 4 oz. mushrooms, chopped
    2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain and puree beans in blender.
    Saute onion in butter until tender; add to beans in blender.
    Add chopped mushrooms and eggs. Add walnuts.
    Blend a few seconds more to mix thoroughly.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Mix well.
    Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
    Serve with crackers or dark bread.
