Sweet Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. onion, diced small
    2 1/2 oz. celery, diced small
    1 1/2 oz. leeks, diced small
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 qt. chicken stock
    1 1/2 lb. sweet potatoes, diced, boiled and coarsely whipped
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 pt. half and half cream
    1 tsp. maple syrup (Baby Brother prefers honey instead)
Preparation
    Put all of the ingredients in a large pot and cook for one hour.
    Stir occasionally.
    Transfer to a soup tureen and serve hot.
    Replenish as needed.
    Sit back and enjoy!
