Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes, cooked in jackets
    6 to 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
    1/3 c. bacon grease
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. diced onions
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    pepper
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons water to a boil.
    Saute onions in bacon grease.
    Break bacon into small pieces.
    Mix all together and add to hot diced potatoes.
