Praline Pecan Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Quaker Oat Squares
    2 c. pecan pieces
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Heat oven to 250 degrees.
    Combine cereal and pecans in 13X9 pan and set aside.
    Combine corn syrup, brown sugar and butter. Microwave on high 90 seconds and stir.
    Microwave 30-90 seconds more or until boiling.
    Stir in vanilla and baking soda and pour over cereal mixture.
    Stir to coat evenly.
    Bake 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
    Spread on baking sheet to cool.
    Break into pieces.
