Marshmallowed Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (16 oz.) cans sweet potatoes, drained and sliced
4 apples, peeled and sliced or 1 can sliced apples
3 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, more or less to taste
1 bag large marshmallows
Preparation

Place half of sweet potatoes in bottom of an 8 x 8-inch casserole.
Dot with half of the margarine and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon.
Layer with half of the apples.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Top with marshmallows.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes, until marshmallows are golden.
Be careful, they scorch easily!
This recipe doubles well, can be prepared a day ahead if canned apples are used.
(Great if you're in a hurry.)
Is great with ham, turkey or roast beef.
