Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3 ripe bananas
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 1/4 c. milk
nuts (if desired)
Preparation

Put all ingredients in bowl and mix well.
Bake until bread springs back to the touch at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Grease and flour pans.
Makes 2 loaf pans or 4 mini loaves.
