Apricot Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dried apricots
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. orange juice
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soak apricots
    in warm water for 30 minutes.
    Drain and cut into
    pieces.
    Cream
    sugar and margarine.\tAdd egg, water and orange
    juice.
    Mix
    the
    dry
    ingredients together.
    Stir into the batter with apricots.
    Pour into a 10-inch Dutch oven and let stand for 20 minutes.
    Bake for 70 minutes.
