Crisp Coconut Oaties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. Watkins coconut flavor
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. rolled oats
Preparation

Cream butter with sugars.
When the mixture is light and fluffy, stir in egg, vanilla and coconut flavor; beat well and set aside.
Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir this mixture into butter-sugar mixture.
Blend well, then stir in coconut, oats and Rice Krispies.
Roll into 1 or 1 1/2-inch balls.
Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
