Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 egg
    1 cabbage head
    2 cans tomato sauce
Preparation
    Trim off cabbage leaves.
    Mix all other ingredients together. Divide mixture into 10 to 12 portions.
    Wrap each ball in a leaf and fasten with a toothpick.
    Brown cabbage rolls in Wesson oil. Pour off fat.
    Cover rolls with tomato sauce.
    Cook slowly, covered, for about 40 minutes; stirring occasionally.
