Short Cake(For Strawberries) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. solid shortening
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. milk (buttermilk or sour)
    flour (enough to make a soft dough)
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat eggs, shortening, sugar, salt, vanilla and baking powder together in large bowl.
    Beat until sugar is dissolved.
    Begin adding flour and beat it in; keep adding and beating in flour until you have a very soft dough.
    Then take some of the mixture out on a floured board and knead a little.
    Shape into rounds and bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until it's light brown.
