Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. squash, sliced thin crosswise
    2 large onions
    2 large bell peppers
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix squash, onions and bell peppers; salt to taste.
    Let stand for 1 hour.
    Bring to boil sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Add squash, onions and peppers.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
