Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salad oil
    1/3 c. catsup
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    2 bunches fresh spinach, washed
    1/2 lb. fresh bean sprouts
    1 (15 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts*
    6 to 8 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
    2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
Preparation
    Mix all dressing ingredients in blender.
    Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight.
