Squash Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. steamed and strained squash
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg or 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1 egg
7/8 c. milk
1 uncooked pie shell
Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and spices or extract.
Add squash, egg (slightly beaten) and milk gradually. Bake in pie shell in 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes. Decrease temperature to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until set.
