Texas Barbecue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. chuck roast or bottom round
    3 Tbsp. drippings
    2 onions, chopped
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. each: dry mustard, salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation
    Brown meat well in drippings.
    Then add onions and sauce. Simmer slowly most of the day, 5 to 6 hours, until very tender. Remove any bones.
    Slice meat and return to sauce.
