Beef 'N Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles
    1/3 c. sliced green onions
    1/3 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
    In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter 3 minutes or until tender.
    Add beef and cook until no longer pink.
    Drain excess fat.
    In a medium bowl, combine tomato paste and sour cream; stir in noodles and cottage cheese.
    Layer half the noodle mixture in a 2-quart casserole.
    Top with half the beef mixture; repeat.
    Pour tomato sauce evenly over the top of the casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until heated through.
    Yield: 6 servings.
