Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. sugar
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    2 small pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
Preparation
    Mix together the first 3 ingredients; press in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake for 7 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Cool.
    Mix together the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar; beat well.
    Add the Cool Whip.
    Spread on cooled crust.
    Dissolve the jello in the hot water.
    Add the frozen sliced strawberries (separate berries with knife).
    When berries have thawed and jello begins to thicken, pour over cream cheese mixture.
    Refrigerate.
