Cranberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole raw cranberries
    1 c. English walnuts, chopped
    1 Tbsp. plain flour
    2 c. flour less 1 Tbsp., sifted
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    Juice of 1 orange
    Rind of 1 orange, grated
    Boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Dredge cranberries and nuts with 1 tablespoon flour.
    Set aside.
    In a measuring cup, combine eggs, shortening, orange juice, and orange rind.\tAdd enough water to make 1 cup liquid.\tSift dry ingredients together, twice.
    Stir liquid into dry ingredients until well mixed.
    Fold in cranberries and nuts.
    Bake in a greased loaf pan for 1 hour.
    Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
    Wrap in foil and store in refrigerator or freezer.
    Makes 1 loaf.
