Manicotti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 large clove garlic
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 c. water
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 Tbsp. basil
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
2/3 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
8 manicotti shells
Preparation
-
Brown meat, onion and garlic.
Add tomato paste, water and spices.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Combine cottage cheese, grated cheese, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
Cook shells in boiling water as directed.
Rinse in cold water.
Drain.
