Carol'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. softened butter
    3/4 c. light Karo
    2 Tbsp. honey
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 unbaked pie shell
    enough nice looking pecans to cover the filling
Preparation
    Cream the first 4 ingredients then add the next 5 and mix well.
    Pour into the shell, decorate with the remaining nuts and bake in a preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    (You may want to place the pie in the lower 1/2 of the oven to keep the top from browning before the custard is properly set.)
    Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
