Chili Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger
    1 onion
    1/4 c. chopped pepper (optional)
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    chili powder (to taste)
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 c. chili beans
    1 1/2 c. water
    tomato juice (according to desired thickness)
Preparation
    Brown hamburger; drain grease.
    Add onion, seasonings and flour; stir well.
    Add
    rest
    of
    ingredients.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally. May cook slowly several hours.
