Scallops And Snow Peas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. finely chopped shallots
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. thawed pea pods
    1 1/2 c. (2-inch pieces) scallions
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. dry vermouth or white wine
    cooked rice
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
    1 lb. sea scallops
Preparation
    In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter, saute shallots until golden.
    Add pea pods and scallions.
    Stir-fry 1 minute.
    Remove to heated platter.
    To same skillet, add sea scallops, cut into quarters.
    Cook 3 to 5 minutes until done.
    Do not overcook. Remove with slotted spoon and place over vegetables on platter.
