Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 sticks oleo
    6 c. all-bran cereal
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. baking soda
    4 eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. unsifted flour
Preparation
    In large bowl, put 2 cups all-bran and pour boiling water with oleo in it over the bran.
    Add remaining 4 cups cereal, eggs and sugar; mix well.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add flour mixture and buttermilk, alternately, until all of both are used.
    Cover and store in refrigerator up to
    6 weeks.
    Bake in muffin pan at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
