Cherry Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. red sour cherries, drained and save juice
Preparation
    Mix first 5 ingredients.
    Add egg, butter and chopped nuts. Stir well and add cherries.
    Bake in greased 8-inch square pan for 45 minutes at 325\u00b0 until done.
