Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cut cabbage
    1 small onion
    4 stems celery
    1 Tbsp. salt (scant)
    1 small green pepper
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, water, vinegar and salt together; pour over vegetables.
    Mix all together and let stand in refrigerator. Keeps well and crisp for a couple of weeks.
