7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, in small pieces
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    celery, chopped into small pieces
    2/3 can bacon bits
    1 small can pitted ripe olives
    about 1 c. lite mayonnaise (enough to spread over mixture)
    1 pkg. grated cheese
    onion powder
    shredded red cabbage or red onion rings
Preparation
    Arrange ingredients, in order mentioned, in layers.
    Top with onion powder and shredded cabbage or onion rings.
    Make in either large salad bowl or cake pan.
    Can double.
    Make an additional 7 layers for large group.
    Chill overnight.
