Green Beans And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, ends trimmed
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped almonds
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook beans in salt water 5 to 7 minutes; drain.
    Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter in skillet; add nuts.
    Use low heat.
    Stir occasionally 5 to 7 minutes until browned.
    Stir in remaining salt and pepper.
    Pour over beans.
    Toss to mix.
    Yields 12 servings.
