*Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter or margarine
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    4 to 5 bananas, sliced
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) container Cool Whip
    chopped nuts
    cherries
Preparation
    Mix 1 stick butter or margarine with graham cracker crumbs. Line a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Beat the powdered sugar, 2 sticks butter or margarine and eggs for 15 minutes with electric mixer. Spread over crumb mixture.
    Drain pineapple; save juice.
    Slice bananas into saved juice and drain.
    Place banana slices on top of beaten mixture.
    Spoon on pineapple.
    Spread Cool Whip over all. Sprinkle top with nuts and cherries.
    Chill.
    Serves 12 to 15.
