Plain Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco or other shortening
2 sticks margarine
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
5 eggs, separated
3 tsp. lemon flavor
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
5 egg whites

Preparation

Beat egg whites in last.
Pour in batter last.
Bake at 350\u00b0.
