Peach Sherbet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. water
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1 3/4 lb. peaches, peeled and sliced (3 c.)
    1 c. whole, low-fat or skim milk
Preparation
    Heat sugar and water to boil; simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in lemon juice and syrup; cool to room temperature.
    Transfer to blender. Add peaches; blend until smooth.
    Refrigerate until cold.
    Stir in milk, then freeze.
