Homemade Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. ripe tomatoes
    16 ears corn, cut off cob
    3 c. sliced okra
    4 c. peas and/or butter beans
    3 to 6 onions, chopped
    3 hot peppers, chopped
    4 sweet peppers, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 qt. water
Preparation
    Remove skins from tomatoes by placing them in boiling water for one minute, then put in cold water.
    Remove tomato cores and then measure out 2 gallons of tomatoes which should be put in the blender for a brief time.
    (You might also prefer blending peppers and onions.)
    Add all other ingredients and cook in an open pot for thirty minutes.
