Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, diced
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 eggs
    3/4 stick margarine, melted
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. bread, torn into small pieces
    1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion.
    Drain well.
    In bowl, beat eggs and add remaining ingredients, except bread and cheese.
    In buttered 2-quart shallow casserole dish, layer bread, squash and cheese. Repeat each layer.
    Top with remaining bread.
    Dot with butter. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
