Asparagus Amandine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. fresh asparagus or 2 boxes frozen, cooked
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Drain cooked asparagus.
    Melt butter in small skillet.
    Cook almonds over low heat until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes; stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add salt and lemon juice; pour over hot asparagus.
    Yield:
    6 servings.
