Date And Nut Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sliced dates
Preparation

Mix the baking powder, salt and flour.
Mix dates and nuts through the flour with fingertips.
Beat eggs until light.
Beat in sugar gradually.
Stir in dry ingredients, nuts and dates. Spread mixture evenly over pan lined with paper or well-greased and dusted with flour.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until the surface will spring back when pressed lightly with one finger. Cut in strips 1 x 4-inches.
Will make 18 bars.
