Charlotte Peter'S Marinari Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. dried mushrooms
    water
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, diced
    1/2 c. salad oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 clove garlic, diced
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 tsp. comino powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak mushrooms in just enough water to cover.
    Saute onion and pepper in oil until soft.
    Stir in rest of ingredients including mushrooms and water.
    Cook over low heat about 30 minutes.
    Pour over cooked spaghetti; top with Parmesan cheese.
    (Marinari means meatless.)
