Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. evaporated milk
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Sift flour and baking soda together.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs one at a time beating with mixer after each addition.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately, to
    sugar mixture, ending with flour; add flavorings.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in greased tube pan.
