Creamy Pimiento Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, softened
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    dash of garlic powder
    4 oz. jar diced pimiento, drained
Preparation
    Combine cheeses and beat at medium speed with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
    Add mayonnaise and garlic powder; mix well.
    Stir in pimiento.
    For best consistency, serve at room temperature.
    To store, cover and chill.
    Yield:
    4 1/2 cups.
