Sour Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 303) can pie cherries
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. nuts
    4 Tbsp. cold water
    1 medium can crushed pineapple, drained (save juice)
    red food coloring
    1 pkg. cherry gelatin
    rind of 1 orange and 1 lemon
Preparation
    Combine sugar and food coloring.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over cherry gelatin.
    Add plain gelatin softened in water.
    Add rind of orange and lemon.
    Add juice, fruits and nuts.
