Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef chuck
    1/2 lb. ground lean pork
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes (about 28 oz. can)
    1 1/3 c. tomato paste (two 6 oz. cans)
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 lb. lasagna, uncooked
    4 c. (8 oz.) Ricotta or creamed cottage cheese
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Sauce:
    Saute beef, pork, onion and garlic in oil in 4-quart saucepan until meat is well-browned.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, salt, oregano, basil and red pepper; simmer, covered, 1 hour.
