Whole Wheat Sausage Stuffing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. chicken broth
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. crushed rosemary
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 c. white bread cubes
2 c. whole wheat bread cubes
Preparation

Brown sausage.
Add green pepper and onion.
Cook until crisp and tender.
Stir in chicken broth and seasonings.
Heat to boiling.
Remove from heat.
Stir in bread cubes.
Toss lightly until moisture is absorbed.
Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Use this with Sausage Stuffed Squash.
