Mile High Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 stick margarine
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. pecans
    3 egg whites
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix flour with brown sugar.
    Cut in margarine as for pie crust.
    Stir in pecans.
    Spread crumbs in 9 x 13-inch pan (do not pat).
    Bake 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Stir twice with fork during baking.
    Remove 1/2 cup crumbs for top.
    Beat egg whites to form soft peaks.
    Add strawberries and juice, lemon juice and sugar. Beat with mixer for 5 minutes.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Pile mixture over crumbs in pan.
    Sprinkle remaining 1/2 crumbs over all. Freeze until firm.
