Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can tomatoes (29 oz.)
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
    3/4 lb. Ricotta cheese or fine dry cottage cheese
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook lasagna, adding cooking oil to prevent sticking.
    Drain. Cook beef, onion and garlic together; brown.
    Add tomato paste, tomatoes, salt, pepper, basil and oregano.
    Cook over low heat until starts to thicken, about 15 minutes.
    Grease a 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Arrange layers of ingredients as follows: tomato-meat mixture, Parmesan cheese, noodles, Mozzarella and Ricotta.
    Repeat layers, ending with meat mixture and Parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 10.
