Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 sweet red peppers
    16 sweet green peppers
    10 small onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half and remove seeds.
    Chop peppers and onions fine.
    Pour boiling water over them; let stand 5 minutes.
    Drain off water, again cover with boiling water; let stand 10 minutes. Pour into muslin bag and drain overnight.
    Add vinegar, sugar and salt; boil 20 minutes.
    While hot, pour into sterile jars and seal. Makes about 3 pints.
