Fresh Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    fresh fruit (peaches, apples or small purple plums)
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in eggs.
    Add milk and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased and floured 9-inch pan.
    Slice fresh fruit.
    Lay it on batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 to 30 minutes.
