Sweet Potato Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
4 Tbsp. hot water
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 can sweet potatoes (I use some of the liquid)
1 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine oil and sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Add egg yolks and beat well; add hot water, then dry ingredients.
Then add potatoes, nuts and vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
